Explanation :

I theorise that in the term ‘freestyle’ comes / is derived from the original term ‘Fischer random’.

1. The ‘FR’ in ‘freestyle’ stands for Fischer Random.
2. The ‘ee’ in ‘freestyle’ comes from the homophonous / heterographic suffix -y.

Or like semi-derived & semi-coincidence since both ‘free’ & ‘Fischer Random’ does have the letters F, R & E and also 9LX is freeing the world from chess opening theory. And well 9LX was both created by an American and announced on the same day as the end of slavery in the US.

I’m guessing this might be something like the ‘write that down’ Spongebob meme re how the Star Wars 9 twist seemed less predicted by someone and more like the Star Wars sequel trilogy writers saw the video and then wrote Star Wars 9 based on it.
